| So what is Treachery in Beatdown City? Wel TBC as I like to call it is a turn based RPG that plays like an old school beat em up. When the president is kidnapped during a summit. The corrupt mayor of East Fulton, Mike Moneybags, refuses to send the East Fulton Police into action to find and save the president from the Ninja Dragon Terrorists that have taken him. The chief of police decides to make a call to a group of vigilantes to save the president.
Brad Steele: Mexican American Wrestler, very strong but easy to tire out he focuses mostly on grabbing and throwing enemies, tends to be the most lethargic of player characters.
Lisa Santiago: MMA master of throws, holds and counters. Unlike stereotypical female fighters her focus is not speed but instead knocking opponents down and inflicting them with various status changes. A very strong and proud Puerto Rican woman with a cold demeanor and fist as hard as ice.
Bruce Maxwell: An African-American man obsessed with Asian culture, Bruce has studied Jeet-Kun-do and Caipoera. Easily the fastest and most energetic member of the party Bruce is also very frail and is unable to really grapple or throw enemies. His lightning fast attacks allow him a more guerrilla approach.
The game is still under development but my partner Shawn and I are always hard at work making the game better and better. right now the game is still in an Alpha stage but very much playable.
If you have any questions I'll do my best to answer them.

| My partner knows like zip about programming so I wanted to help teach him using GameMaker8. I'm going to move the game over to a .net archetype soon though.
Theres been a few really cool games made in GameMaker. Serious Sam: The Random encounters being one of em.

| Will it support a wired 360 Pad on PC? Or hell any USB controller. Personally I would love to buy a NES USB pad for it | |

| It'll support wired 360 but if you have control imk or xpadder the game will work fine on any generic controller since there are keyboard controls that mimic gamepad controls. | |

| Well like right now its a 6 button game but thats more me trying to optimize it for the Vita scheme but I could narrow it down to 2 though it'd take you a lot longer to get around the menu. | |

| Now for copyright reasons I know you can't have cameos of classic games or anything. However is there any Easter eggs or enemies or something inthe background that might pay a homage to a certain game or company character etc.. | |

| Yes, TONS.
in terms of references to real things Mike Moneybags is a joke on Mike Bloomberg the mayor of NY. Fulton is the area Shawn lives in while I live in the Lower East Side
In terms of games theres ALOT of Final Fight, Double Dragon, Streets of Rage, Bad Dudes and River City Ransom jokes. I played those games extensively to get a good idea of how they feel and what makes them good, and what makes them bad, so if theres something in a game where you have to jump a river and its nigh impossible, best believe theres a joke in there for that.

| Possibly, I'll see where things end up it might be easy or it might end up being difficult, it all depends on how easy sony is to work with. | |

Now I may not be one to use this kinda thing but will there be a online mode of any sort? I only ask as it seems to be the norm in games even when they don't need it.
