Two men, $200,000, and a successful Kickstarter: how FTL did everything right

I just read this article over at the PA report about this Indie game raising $200,000 back in February. It makes me think about how amazing the internet has made things these days. These two guys can spend time developing a game and launch a kickstarter campaign for additional funding and created a finished product that they can then release globally.

It looks pretty cool too.

This is the place to post good indie games that need some help for example kickstarters or steam greenlight games.

Isn't Captain Forever great?

As for other indie games, I'll post tomorrow. Gotta go now. Great topic!

Just an indie game I played recently and highly recommend (still playing, in fact), though not Kickstarter or anything else, is To the Moon from Freebird Games. It has a very interesting story and is very well done. It looks like an old console rpg, but plays like a point and click adventure game. Everyone should play it, if you haven't already.

Theres a lot of good kickstarters out there, that one looks amazing i'm just worried because none have actually materialized in a game yet.
