Yeah, seriously.

They give him so many safe outs but he never takes them, like a jackass. What the hell is wrong with five million? If he's so concerned about having a business empire he can take that five million and invest in a legit business.

Spoiler:
But Walt is insane and has been for some time. Back in the first season it was revealed that the hugely successful chem company Gray Matter was co-founded by him and two university friends, one was a colleague, the other was his lab assistant girlfriend. But he got pissed and threw it all away for some Walt reason, and left the company, which went on to become incredibly Nobel-prize successful based on his research, leaving Walt bitter, thinking his friends got rich using his work. Yet, years later, after the diagnosis, they offer to pay for all of Walt's medical care, and even offer him a legit chemistry job back at the company he co-founded, but his twisted animosity makes him bitterly reject both offers. He wants to be a criminal mastermind. It has nothing to do with supporting his family. He's so unstable, he even tried to kill himself as soon as he thought he was going to get caught after he crashed RV meth lab, but the gun jammed. Then he saw that the oncoming sirens where actually firetrucks... Walt is fundamentally insane, and I don't think anybody but Mike (and Skyler and his old business partners, obviously) knows it yet.

I think Walter is going to kill Skyler. In a fit of impulsive rage. I just don't see his family surviving. Jesse I think cracks at some point, not to the cops but get's a life living honest.

Yep, Walt's insane alright. It's such a crazy character progression. I still wonder if he has Huntington's disease like his father. Also I'm pretty sure he's gonna fuck Mike and Jesse over in this next episode somehow.
Anyway, aside from that I just watched Breakfast at Tiffany's last night. I think it was a great movie aside from that terribly racist "Asian" character they had.

I was watching the news when they had a story how some meth makers were busted after they by mistake sat on their cell and made an accidental 911 call. Thought it would be hilarious if that's how Breaking Bad ended.

The part where the elder monk gives his farewell and the scene after are just positively gut wrenching. Probably the most powerful scene I've seen in a movie all year.

Just finished the first season of The Walking Dead. I'm enjoying it even though it's over-dramatic. But hey, I did love Lost.

Watching Shogun on Starz. It holds up fairly well, despite being three decades old.

I started watching the Detective Conan anime from the beginning. Its a lot of fun since I haven't seen a lot of these episodes since before I started studying Japanese. On top of that there's the mountain of episodes that I haven't seen period because they never aired on Cartoon Network. It'll be a while before I get to them, though, as I'm watching the series in sequence. Hopefully I will eventually catch up with the Japanese running and be able to start watching them new.

^ Ever notice how adults are always utterly useless at doing their jobs and solving their problems in anime? If not for Japans youth, the adult population would all be dead.
